The clientele of Yorktown Family Dentistry have been very loyal and Dr. Gant wants to say thank you in a way that shows we really care and appreciate your business. As long as current patients continue having two preventive appointments per year, Yorktown Family Dentistry will whiten their teeth for free.

Dr. Stephen Gant

Dr. Gant graduated from Yorktown High School in 1966 and Ball State University in 1970. In 1975, Dr. Gant graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Upon graduation from dental school, he completed a 1 year-general practice residency at the Army’s Ft. George G. Meade, MD. From there he was stationed for 3 years in Vaihingen, Germany at Patch Barracks. It was at this time that the love of his life, his daughter Lindsey was born. She and her husband live in Arizona. Dr. Gant is married to Debbie who is the Indiana Marketing Director for Community Association Underwriters of America, Inc. Dr. and Mrs. Gant live in Yorktown. Dr. Gant has been in practice in Yorktown since 1979.
F.A.G.D. designates Dr. Gant’s FELLOWSHIP status in the Academy of General Dentistry. He was awarded this in 1982 for receiving over 500 hours of continuing education post dental school. In September 2013, at the IAMDI meeting in New York, Dr. Gant was awarded his Mastership status in the International Acedemy of Mini Dental Implants. Dr. Gant also operates a Mini Dental Implant Center in the Yorktown Family Dentistry facility.
Dr. DeLayne Lefevre

Dr. DeLayne Lefevre is proud to claim small town roots from Shenandoah High School in Middletown, Indiana. Upon graduation she attended Purdue University where she received a bachelor degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering in 1997. From then she worked as an engineer before deciding to return to school to pursue a career in dentistry. In 2006, Dr. Lefevre graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Since receiving her dental license, Dr. Lefevre has gained extensive experience in urgent dental care as well as pediatric dentistry. She demonstrates expertise in comprehensive dentistry by performing all aspects from preventative care to restorative procedures to orthodontics (Invisalign and Clear Correct). She enjoys treating the entire dental family from the youngest patient to the oldest adults. Dr. Lefevre maintains an intense continuing education regimen ensuring her patients receive the highest quality dental care available. Dr. Lefevre is a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, Indianapolis District Dental Society, Indianapolis General Dentist Study Club, Indiana Women Dentist Study Group. She and her husband, Kevin, have two children, Olivia and Alex.
